What happens if I delete a task or an event?

1. Tasks

From Google Tasks → monday.com: If you delete a task in Google Tasks, it will not be deleted in monday.com. This is to prevent accidental data loss.

From monday.com → Google Tasks: If you delete a task in monday.com, it will also be removed from Google Tasks. Be mindful when deleting directly from your board.

2. Events

Since events can sync both ways, deletions are reflected on both platforms:

• If you delete an event in Google Calendar, it will also be deleted in monday.com.

• If you delete an event in monday.com, it will also be deleted in Google Calendar.

⚠️ Tip: Always double-check before deleting — especially for events — since changes will sync across both platforms.
